Index gives a new standard for brands in Asia to benchmark and optimize influencer marketing performance
TAIPEI, DECEMBER 16, 2025 – Kolr, a marketing intelligence solution, operated by iKala Group, today announced the launch of the Brand Aura Index, a new leaderboard that ranks brands in Asia based on influencer marketing performance. The Index debuts with beauty brands in Taiwan and will expand to include both fashion, beauty and other categories across major Asian markets.
A Better Way to Benchmark Brand Performance
Influencer marketing campaigns often span multiple platforms and cover myriad goals, making it difficult for brands to understand their true performance using traditional metrics.
After receiving feedback from working with more than 50,000 brands, the Kolr team developed the Brand Aura Index, a single unified score that clearly measures influencer impact.

The Brand Aura Index scores brands on four key metrics:
- Exposure: How visible a brand is across audiences and platforms.
- Resonance: How effectively a brand drives meaningful interactions and engagement.
- Vitality: How consistently a brand stays active and gains traction through engaging, high-quality content.
- Affinity: How deeply a brand connects with and is supported by its community.
SK-II Leads Beauty Brands in Taiwan
Japan's SK-II emerged as the leader in the first Q4 2025 leaderboard, whose most engaged campaign was with male influencer,Ivan Chang. By positioning skincare as a gender-inclusive form of self-care and partnering with male creators across diverse styles and disciplines, SK-II challenged the notion of "women-only skincare" while expanding its consumer base and cultural relevance.

The next best-performing brands in the Index, in order, are YSL Beauty, Laniege,Dasique, and Fenty Beauty, followed by Lancôme, Chanel Beauty,Prada Beauty,Maybelline New York and the Ordinary.
The rankings are led by France, which has three brands represented, followed by strong showings from the United States and South Korea, with additional top performers from Japan, Italy, and Canada.
Kolr will continue to publish the Brand Aura Index on a quarterly basis, with Q1 2026 expanding to include Japanese beauty brands, followed by fashion, beauty and additional brand category rankings across additional markets in Asia.
Sega Cheng, Chairman, iKala: "The question we hear most often from brands is simple: they want to understand how they are performing, how their competitors are performing, and how they compare. Until now, there has not been a meaningful way to benchmark this. We created the Brand Aura Index to fill that gap, providing a clear, data-backed benchmark for the creator economy across Asia and showcasing the highest-performing brands that others can learn from and measure themselves against."
